Our Mission

About This Resident-Run Community Platform

This website was established by a resident of Del Webb Naples to serve as an independent, resident-centered resource for our community. Its mission is to provide a space where neighbors can access reliable information, engage in meaningful discussion, and consider the needs of Del Webb Naples from a truly resident perspective.

Experience and Perspective

Since 2007, our community has operated under the guidance of a Developer-controlled HOA Board, which has set priorities, managed communications, and made key long-term decisions. Drawing on my background as both a former member of a Florida Developer Board prior to turnover and as the first elected, resident-led HOA President, I bring first-hand insight into the operational and transitional phases of community governance.

My experience includes:

• Reviewing and facilitating developer-to-resident asset transfers
• Recruiting and managing community management teams
• Preparing and overseeing annual budgets
• Conducting independent financial audits
• Commissioning and analyzing reserve and engineering studies

These experiences provide valuable context for understanding both past decisions and ongoing issues that may warrant further attention.

The Need for Independent Information

A recent proposal for a $3.5 million capital investment in the Rusty Putter’s rebranding and renovation has reinforced the importance of transparency and a well-supported business case when considering major community expenditures. This highlighted the need for an independent platform where residents can:

• Access clear, relevant information
• Discuss significant topics openly
• Evaluate community needs outside of a developer-led narrative

This website is dedicated solely to supporting the well-being and long-term sustainability of Del Webb Naples. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PulteGroup, the Del Webb Naples Community Association, or Hampton Golf. Our goal is to foster open communication, informed decision-making, and a strong sense of community among residents.
